We collect information you provide directly, such as your display name, username, email, bio, profile picture, and the clips you upload. We also collect usage data like reactions, comments, follows, and votes to operate the app.
2. How We Use Data
We use your data to run the app, show you relevant content, rank clips and competitions, send notifications, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who Can See Your Data
Public profile information (display name, avatar, uploaded clips) is visible to other users. Some fields like points or favorite categories may also be shown publicly. Email addresses are never displayed publicly.
4. Storage and Security
Your data is stored using backend services provided by Lovable Cloud. We use signed URLs for video access and row-level security to limit database access. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage strong passwords.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We may use basic analytics to understand how the app is used. This may include cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser.
6. Your Choices
You can edit your profile, delete your clips, or delete your account at any time. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited period.
7. Children
PunchLine is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us data, contact us to delete it.
